Mark Jaster – Bio
Mark Jaster is the Founder & CEO of 418 Intelligence Corp. – a Reston Virginia based innovator in proactive cyber defense and workforce development. He has over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and problem solver driving applications of advanced technologies in cybersecurity, the federal government, and private industry. He began his career as a U.S. Air Force Officer in human systems R&D, and in 1993 led astronaut integration and Extra-Vehicular Activity engineering on the historic spacewalking mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. In addition to cybersecurity and space systems his career has touched robotics, semiconductor manufacturing, medical devices, banking systems, and intelligence systems.
He founded 418 Intelligence as a spin-out of technology pioneered in the US Intelligence Community to create a collective defense model for cybersecurity. The company is bringing this to market now through a new workforce upskilling and low-cost service using the revolutionary capabilities of AI and real-time cyber threat intelligence to proactively disable the most critical cyber threats that target the weak links of communities, critical infrastructure entities and vulnerable smaller companies.
Mark holds a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, and an MSE in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
